About Me

I have had a love affair with the written word for as long as I can remember.  Before I could even read, my parents placed books in my crib to help me sleep.  Since then, my love of books has only grown. My apartment is absolutely littered with books, filling bookshelves, stacked in piles on the floor. I am never without something to read, keeping a book at work, a book in my purse a book in my car, and usually two books laying around my place that I happen to be reading. 

In my opinion, many people have lost their love of reading and the written word and I find this a tragedy of epic proportions. With this blog, I hope to reunite this love in people as well as open discussions about many different types of books and what makes reading special to them.
